BJP Retains Power in Gujarat by Simple Majority

The election for Gujarat and election  Himachal Pradesh had a huge impact on 2019 loksabha election.All election master predicted that BJP will form a govenment with simple majority in gujarat and huge victory in himachal pradesh.In gujarat Bjp won 99 seat were as Congress party only satisfied for 80 seat.Bjp has lost many seat in saurashtra region and only urban area seat were pulled up bjp to claim victory.The congress party after playing religious game and reservation to patel community has won only 80 but gave tough competition to ruling party bjp which has ruling over two decades. The congress party gained in rural area but fail to do the best in

urban area.The issues like Ram mandir,Reservation,Statement by manishankar  Aiyyar played a deciding role for this election.young leaders like hardik patel,dalit leader jignesh mevani and backward caste leader Alpesh Thakor directly and indirectly supported congress.Even young generation of patels voted for congress but many remained stable and voted for BJP this made to cross simple majority.While Prime minister himself participated in several rallies and BJP Chanakya Amit shah both  turned whole picture into reality.While 2% of the voters chose the  NOTA(None of the above) for rejecting candidate acorss the political spectrum. Factors like GST,Demonetisation has not played a major role in Gujarat election.Because BJP claimed a victory in industrial area like Surath. Even though many people wanted reservation along with BJP ruling in the state.However in last BJP retained its state.By retaining the power in Gujarat BJP core committee declared Vijay Rupani as the chief minister and Nitin Patel for the post of Deputy chief minister of gujarat.Vote share for BJP in gujarat increased to 49.10% compared to 47.9 % vote share in 2012 assembly election.where congress vote share raised to 41.4% with 39% in 2012.Even though the vote share of BJP has increased but failed to win more seat compared to previous election.

BJP Wrest Himachal Pradesh from Congress

                                   In Himachal Pradesh BJP claimed massive victory and came back to power.BJP has won 44 seat and Congress won 21 seat out of total 68 seats.BJP chief ministerial candidate Dhumal has lost this election. While BJP talked about Development(Vikas) and corruption that has been happened during congress ruling.Congress president rahul gandhi concedes the defeat of the party.BJP by taking away Himachal pradesh from congress now NDA controls 19 state in the country.BJP with the vote share of 48.8% gained by 10.3% vote share compared to previous state assembly election where congress vote share decreased to 1% while it had the vote share of 42.8% in 2012 election. By the defeat of BJP chief ministerial candidate Dhumal BJP core committee announced Jai Ram Thakur  as the chief minister. Jai Ram thakur won the election from seraj seat of himachal pradesh with the margin of 11000 votes.
